About National Museum in your Pocket

National Museum in your Pocket is a digital companion mobile application created for visitors of the National Museum of Singapore. The app provides immersive self-guided audio tours, interactive exhibit maps, augmented reality artifact previews, and curated historical storytelling to enrich the museum exploration experience for local and international visitors alike.

How we helped

Vinova partnered with the museum team to design and develop an intuitive, location-aware mobile companion app. We integrated beacon-based indoor positioning for automated tour guidance, optimized high-definition audio and multimedia streaming, and crafted an accessible UI that enhances visitor engagement across permanent and special exhibition galleries.
